Did my GPU just died?

Hello.

Today while I was playing my PC suddenly shut down (no freezes, black or blue screens, it just shutdown instantly) and it restarted by itself 5 seconds after but there was no video signal. Removing the card and using the integrated one seems to solve the problem (also used an old Radeon HD 2000 series in the same slot and seems to work fine, tho only tested it for a few minutes). At this point I suppose there is no other way than return it or should I check something else? The graphic card only has a year since I bought it...

My specs:

i5 3570k @4.5Ghz
Asrock Z77 Pro3
NOX Urano 750w PFC
16Gb RAM DD3
AMD R9 390X

Except the gpu, the rest of the components have 3 years of use (also, the gpu I had before was a 290X which only lived for barely a year too...)

Thank you and sorry for my English!

Solution
The EVGA supernova G2 can handle the 1080ti. Its one of the best quality wise. Only video card it may have a problem with is the highest end water cooled VEGA 64.
Could be either your video card or your power supply. I suggest you buy new PSU first as you should get new one anyway. Shouldn't cost much as a decent 550~650W can handle your video card. Plus if it your video card a 600~650w can handle any of the new cards. Due to bitmining getting a good RX580 is costly. You could get a RX vega 56 when it comes out for $399.

Thank you for your answer. I also considerated the PSU as the culprit too. I know its actually not a good one so I will probably change it. In case its the GPU, I also thought I change it for a Nvidia 1080, could that 650W psu be enough?

In the end seems like it was the GPU. I submited an RMA and got my money back (320€). I paid another 300€ and got that PSU and the Aorus Geforce GTX 1080. Very happy with it for now.
