Hi guys i need some help. I have a Cooler Master K-350 case, and i think this case has a bad airflow and it's making my cpu and gpu temps go very high (around 60ºC for the gpu and 70º for the CPU) so i was thinking of getting a new case, the thing is i don't really understand about PC cases and cooling. So can you guys help me with this? I've been seeing reviews and have 3 cases in mind: the Corsair 400C, the NZXT S340 Elite and the Phanteks Eclipse P400, are these good choices? And what CPU cooler (my CPU is a i5-6600K, which i would like to overclock) do you recommend? And what about fans for this case? I'm a beginner in PC building, so all the help is appreciated.

Corsair H100i = Corsair 400C, NZXT S340, and Phanteks Eclipse P400

Noctua NH D15 air cooler = Corsair...
I have four criteria for for a case.

1. It must hold all of my parts.
That includes room for a 160mm air cpu cooler.

2. Two front 120m or larger intake fans.
If you have this, you will get sufficient fresh air intake to cool an overclocked cpu and a strong graphics card.
If those fans are 140mm, so much the better; they will be quieter.

3. The front intake should be the only source of fresh intake air and it should have a washable filter.
This will keep your case cleaner. AKA positive pressure.
4. It must look good. Some like "bling" not so much for me.

All three choices would work for me.

As to cooling, I like Noctua. They are easy to install, are of top quality, and are quiet.
I5-6600K is a 91w cpu; more with an overclock.
Noctua has a list of coolers and what TDP they can handle:

I would pick the NH-D15s for a max overclock and a NH-U12s for a modest overclock.
If you pick the NZXT430, it has 171mm available for a cooler and the choice would be the NH-U14s.

FWIW:
As of 12/04/2016
What percent can get an overclock at a somewhat sane 1.40v Vcore.

I5-6600K

4.9 14%
4.8 38%
4.7 67%
4.6 87%

I cool my I5-7600K with a NH-U12s @4.9 without issue.

Thanks i'll look into it. How about a closed circuit water cooler like the h100i? Would it be better to cool the CPU? Or is the NH-D15s enough for the 6600k?

Both are more than enough cool the i5 6600k right out of the box, and still offer headroom for overclocking as well. If you are planning to get the H100i series, make sure do a thoroughly inspection on the cooling to make sure there's no leak or hole before installing.

Thanks, i will, i don't want to destroy my PC. By the way both these coolers would fit in the cases i mentioned right? And what other fans are good to fill the case and keep everything cool?

Corsair H100i = Corsair 400C, NZXT S340, and Phanteks Eclipse P400

Noctua NH D15 air cooler = Corsair 400C

If you are going with Noctua NH D15, you should check the clearance of your case in this case only the Corsair 400C is compatible, the motherboard compatibility Noctua listed on their site, and low profile RAM with the height of 32mm total.

As for the fan, I would go with Noctua fan in my opinion if you don't mind the color of it. Other than that, you probably need to look up some review for the best cooling fan, and I doubt more than majority would recommend Noctua if you don't mind the brown color scheme of it.
