Can't use more than one microphone/line-in port at once.

Cant use more than one microphone port or rear line-in at the same time. For example, i try to use my rear line in for my xbox so i can get that audio on my computer but i cant use a headset microphone for discord at the same time. Please help.

a microphone port and a line-in port are actually, different things.
Do you actually have a line-in port on the back of your computer or just a microphone port?

is your headset microphone a dual or single jack deal? like one for the mic and one for the headset?
Did you install your audio drivers?
Does the XBox actually have a single audio cable out? besides optical... And WHICH xbox?

I have a dedicated 3.5mm cord that runs from my headset microphone to my computer while audio comes from the SPDIF out on the back to my headset amplifier. Its the Xbox one and I use the optical out and convert it to a 3.5mm aux cord which runs from the adapter to the Line-in. I have a built in creative sound card that comes with my motherboard and all my drivers are installed and up to date. The program that i use to manage it is the Recon3Di control panel that came with my mobo drivers disk.
