So I have just finished building my first pc I followed the instructions to the T but now as I'm turning on the pc it won't POST and my monitor won't pick anything up.

I thought it might have something to do with the hdmi ports so I got display port adapter but still no go.

Specs:
Amd ryzen 7 1700
Asus dual gtx 1060
Rog strix b350-f motherboard
Rip jaw V ddr4
EVGA 430w
Sea gate 2 terabyte hard drive
Kingston 128 gb SSD
Asus optical drive

Okay in rare cases I've seen people report the CPU cooler being too tight and not allowing the pci devices to work. Perhaps remont your cooler (and might as well reinstall the CPU while the cooler is off). I assume you've reinserted the single stick of ram and the GPU as well as all power going anywhere?

Only try the 1060 going forward the motherboard has no onboard video with s ryzen chip installed.

Did you plug the power connectors into the 1060?

Ensure all other connector are properly installed?

Made sure ram in in the correct slots per the manual

Dropped down to only the cpu, CPU cooler, 1 stick of ram, and GPU. And see what happens.

Still the same thing, I should mention that when I start up I get one short beep from the speaker

Never seen one not display because of it, but I've not had a keyboard fault from a ryzen build yet

Try an old school ps2 hookup keyboard if available, if not use a direct connection USB one. The fancier the keyboard the more likely it won't work in bios.
