hey all,

I know it is easier to just go and buy a usb based adapter but my usb ports are all in use, and the ethernet is not.

I want to use an old dlink router i had lying around, it has the initial ddwrt firmware installed on it (factory to wrt), as a replacement wifi adapter for my laptop which has no working wireless at the moment.

is it possible to re-purpose a router to do that?

Solution
It's the password for your Wifi, which you would have entered into your main router and any connected clients, hence why the security is called WPA2-PSK.

If you are not using any security then it would just be blank.
