Are my CPU temps to high? (Max:91c)

I bought a pre built "Aegis 3" PC from MSI with an Intel i7 7700k and a gtx 1070 inside, I also have a 144hz monitor.

I'm concerned while gaming how hot my cpu gets. I've reached a max of 91 degrees Celsius plenty of times according to msi afterburner but I mostly average around 80-85 degrees Celsius. Is this to hot?

Will this cpu handle 80-85.c in an hour long gaming session?

Is something wrong?

Am I pushing my pc to much with 144hz?

Thanks to anyone who takes to the time to help.

What cooler does it have? If you're reaching 91C while gaming it would likely reach max temp under Prime95.

I'd say 91C gaming is too high for normal use. Let's see what cooler you're using and find out if it's cooling as it should or if something's wrong. You may just need a better cooler.

Or you need to reapply your cooler with better thermal paste using the dot method and insuring you installed your cooler properly. Upper left, lower right, upper right, lower left. Reapply thermal paste using a dot. Make sure you don't screw too tightly. Ensure your fan is plugged in the right spots and is running at optimal speed (sometimes its easy to plug in a chasis fan into the cpu fan and vice versa).

Also make sure it's reading the right temps.
I've heard of the 7700K running around 75C but not 91C, so if you built your PC I would make sure your cooler is installed properly and your fan settings in your bios are set to run fast.
