I play a lot of games like CS:GO, PUBG, RL ect. but last week my usual ping of 50-70 shot up. I tried restarting the router and my computer, exiting out of all other programs and apps, did some speed test and everything seems normal other than the ping/latency. Any ideas on what the problem could be?
Why has my ping went from 50-70 to 300-400 out of the blue?

Most likely then the problem lies outside of your environment and is beyond your control.
You could have a bad connection to your ISP, and contacting them about it is not a terrible idea.
But the problem most likely lies further upstream and could even be the game server connections themselves.
These things do tend to resolve themselves in time, unless your connection is at fault.
