Looking for recommendations for a mid-budget, AM3+ socket, micro-ATX motherboard that I can confidently use as a replacement for my (presumably) now-dead MSI 760GM-P34(FX). This isn't something I'm buying to future-proof my system, it's just something to get it back online without having to foot the cost for a new processor, new RAM, etc.
Current specs:
Again, I fully realize that AM3 is "dead" nowadays and that Ryzen and/or newer Intel is the way to go but I simply can't swing the $300+ for a total upgrade at the moment. I'm just looking for something temporary that won't fizzle out in a few weeks (which means the board doesn't need to be high-end either).
Please keep in mind that the board must be micro-ATX.
Thanks!
Current specs:
- AMD FX-6300
- Corsair CX430
- MSI GeForce GTX 950
- 2x 8GB G.SKILL Ripjaws DDR3 1600
