Hello, My relevant specs are:
My relevant specs are:
Intel i7-4790K Processor
16GB DDR3 RAM
4 x 500 GB SSDs (2 Intel, 2 Samsung EVO PRO)
2 x GTX 1080 SLI
Win 7 64 Bit
Asus Formula Z Motherboard
Win 7 64 Bit
Now i used to get bluetooth to work fine but something went wrong and the onboard BT does not function, i recently got a bluetooth usb dongle and it just wont work no matter what i do.
When i plug it in it says device driver not installed/failed but when i try to install the driver through device manager it says i have the best and latest driver installed.
I've checked services.msc and bluetooth services and bluetooth support services are both enabled and automatic.
When i type bluetooth in my windows search bar and click on it nothing happens and when i try to discover services, its the same story, nothing happens. BTTRAY.exe and BTStackserver.exe are constantly running though.
Also worth a mention that the Bluetooth dongle is 2.0 and is a generic brand, however everyone at work, even my own employees use it fine without any issues, before i pursue a brand i just wanted to make sure i wasnt missing something simple.
Any help would really be appreciated!
Moderators: My apologies if this is in the wrong section, my ultimate goal is to get my phone to connect to my PC which i am finding impossible to do due to the above impediment. Thanks!
