Hi, having some issues upgrading from a I5-4670K to an I7-4790K. My motherboard is a Gigabyte Z87-D3HP and i have never had an issue with the CPU or motherboard.
I simply started by removing and inserting the new CPU. The computer starts up all fans and lights working for about 2 seconds, then it just switches off and back on with the same cycle.
I have tried to reset CMOS by removing the battery but nothing.
Any ideas would be a big help!
