I have no interest in overclocking so I'm wondering if the i7 6700 non k will be good for gaming at 1080p 144hz for atleast 1-2 years?

Solution
ya...lets say a youtube video pops up with a higher fps than yours in a years time. buddy, there will be a lot more tech released in that time. to say "im on the bleeding edge" id say xmas, new year, feb. then youd experience slowdowns.

makes sense, so realistically it'll do fine at 1080p 144hz max settings for a year or so before having to tune down settings?
