Recently ordered a 1050 TI and a Seagate BarraCuda 1TB HDD. I got the 1050 TI in and then I installed the HDD and come to find out, there was an error. "disk boot failure insert system disk and press enter." Double checked everything sata was connected and everything works fine I go to the Boot Menu and sellect the option where it shows the things on which option you can select to boot from. I chose the hard drive and the same error occured. I plug in my old HDD and everything works just fine.

Specs:

Motherboard:
Gigabyte GA‑X58A‑UD3R

GPU:
EVGA GTX 1050 ti

PSU:
Corsair CX 430

Processor:
Intel Core i7-7700k

Need help fixing...

I assume you bought the 1TB new and there was no windows installed on it? You can't boot from an empty drive.
Did you clone the old drive to the new drive?

Macrium Reflect, EaseUS Todo backup, or other disk cloning programs will do what you want... Or you could keep your old drive as a boot drive, and use the new drive for all your data.

How do I install windows on it when I can't boot it. My old boot drive is bad as it is slow and almost 5 years old. I don't know how to clone it. Perhaps you can leave me a couple of steps to try out?
