Hi.
I have the computer with the following parts

Intel Pentium G3220 processor
G.Skill 4GB DDR3 1333mhz RAM
Sapphire R7 250X 1GB GPU
Antec VP450 PSU
ASRock H81 PRO BTC motherboard
Corsair 200R case
WD Blue 500GB (I did not buy this, used it from older PC. All other are comparatively new)

Now my problem is, since a few days whenever I boot up my computer it won't show a screen, the monitor would keep blinking but no display, the computer works during this time (I mean all fans are running). I used to switch it off and on and it used to successfully boot up at 3 attempts. But today this happened and it just won't turn on anyhow. I pulled every connection on the motherboard and put it back in to make sure nothing is loose. I can link a video if someone can tell me how to. Should I upload on youtube or something?
I have an old CRT monitor if that's worth mentioning.

Please help me out.
Thanks.

Thanks for the reply.
The monitor light keeps blinking. The Power LED turns on. As soon as I press the power button, the fans start, they take a stop as if power is cut down and then start running. This happens twice before the fans start running continuously.

you never mentioned anything about the lights on the keyboard though.

just because the LED light on the monitor os on or blinking does not mean it is still in working order

So I booted the computer again to see the keyboard lights. I made the GPU and PSU connections again. It started and gave me a display the keyboard lights were on. Before the welcome screen I got the Blue Screen, I restarted it and this time it booted successfully with an excessive time on the Welcome screen (I have Windows 7 Ultimate)

ok, you started it back up and get a blue screen when trying to boot. then you said your restarted and said it spent excessive time on the welcome screen and didn't mention anything like if it was still at the welcome screen or it did get past it

I'm sorry for being a noob at this. Yes it did work perfectly after this. It's running normal. No crashes as of now.

it might be, i would try shutting it down again and see if it starts up normally again

I did that. For a few times it turned on completely fine, After that, I put the panels back on, for this I had to move the case a little here and there. After putting it back together, when I started it, I got the same problem. I think there is some problem in the wiring or connections. Checked it with a different surge strip. Same problem. I managed to get it to run somehow by shaking the case here and there. Trying not to move it from it's position at all while gaming now. Also the HDD and Power LED have stopped working.

Thanks for this. It is quite similar when windows is booting. But once successfully booted, there are no freezes or crashes. I am suspecting too that the motherboard would need replacement because the power LED stopped working so I plugged it into another header and it worked. It doesn't look like it has swollen capacitors or something. But I'll still check it out. Probably time to start looking for a cheap board.
I have a question though, if the computer doesn't start successfully when I use it with motherboard and CPU only, how do I figure out which one is faulty?
