Hello all, I am new to the forum and I am sure there are 100's if not 1000's of questions like mine. I am planning on building a gaming PC. This would be my first build ever, and am hoping to get some great advice. This build will happen over the coming months and may not start until the New Year but want to be able to gather facts and a parts list to start acquiring what I will need. I am hoping to keep it around $1500-$1700 Canadian.

I was planning on basing the system off of the following just from some things I have read.

Ryzen 7 CPU
Asus Crosshair VI Hero

Looking for recommendations on the rest. I don't need a case with lights and all that but if there is a deal I would look at it. Hoping to get a SSD maybe 250GB and another HD for additional storage. Let me know your ideas or if I am way off base as I said I am a NEW to this.

Thanks for your input

Solution
is this good enough for you? just configure it if you dont really like some of the parts, also if you want to get better overclocking, get intel processor, but note that they are pretty pricy

some note:
-you dont really need crosshair vi that is based of x370, the b350 cheaper and can do pretty decent overclocking, x370 only do slightly better overclocking
-the ssd that i put there is a sata ssd, so dont expect it to be so fast, but however it is pretty decent, you can just get a faster m.2 ssd if you want to
-change the cooler to air cooler to save some money if you dont do overclocking, and change mobo to a320, but however overclocking it is better and more beneficial
-if you want to you can...
