Hi All,

I’m trying to reassemble an old PC into a good one for Gaming and Video Editing. I’m having an Intel i5 2nd gen CPU, WD 500 GB HD, 4GB RAM (need to +), Monitor, Keyboard and Mouse. Rest of the part are not useful. I need to reassemble and make a good PC using the left outs.

Please help me in configuring my PC with combination supporting Intel i5 2nd gen CPU and the left outs.

Good GPU, PSU and Motherboard combination for Intel i5 2nd Gen and with good compatibility.

Budget between 20-30K INR excluding the left outs.

Living in INDIA.

Waiting for a response.

Thanks :)

Thank You. But the GPU cost is around 23K. I need PC Cabinet as well and was thinking of Corsair PSU and ASUS, ASrock or Intel motherboard since i heard it was good from many of my friends.

Could you please suggest a configuration with 1 or 2GB DDR5 GPU costing around 8-10K and Corsair PSU and ASUS, ASrock or Intel motherboard and a good cabinet as well.

Thanks :) Peace

Trust me gigabyte is good but if you have unlocked CPU then you cannot overclock. if not then go for Gigabyte. Corsair case costs you INR3,800 so total will be around INR35,000 so increase your budget a bit and go for it.

Please can you give more details about the CPU like what model it is. There many 2nd Gen i5s which specific version you have.

The seasonic PSU has very high quality and comes at meaningful price. There is no Corsair PSU which has as good quality as seasonic in similar price range. Check this list

You were talking about this right?
http://www.amazon.in/Corsair-Carbide-CC-9011075-WW-Computer-included/dp/B00RORBQNW

It supports the seasonic PSU which you have recommended right?

And with the Gigabyte motherboard you recommended, does it support USB 3.0(coz Corsair 100R has USB 3.0) and the graphics card you have mentioned? I have read a review on amazon(the above link) that its not good for gaming.

Also Please let me know any alternative graphics card with 2GB DDR5 and a good Monitor.

Thanks for your time and support.

Peace.

Yes that Case supports Seasonic PSU and it comes with USB 3.0.

The low rating in Amazon.in for that GPU is not based on its performance. Please read the comments on Amazon.in. People gave it one star because of it being over priced. If you were to buy this INR23,000 GPU for INR33,000 probably you would also give it a 1Star rating. Besides that it is a great GPU no problems with it. Go for it.

No, I was talking about the review(http://www.amazon.in/Gigabyte-GA-H61M-S1-GA-H61M-S1-Motherboard/product-reviews/B00B5QDLTK/ref=dpx_acr_txt?showViewpoints=1) on the Gigabyte motherboard you recommended and not the GPU.

Does the motherboard support USB 3.0(coz Corsair 100R has USB 3.0) and the graphics card you have mentioned

The Motherboard description shows as 4 sata 3 gb/s. So basically USB 2.0.

SATA II runs at 3.0 gigabits/second; SATA III runs at 6.0 gigabits/second.
USB 2.0 runs at 480 megabits/second; USB 3.0 runs at 5.0 gigabits/second.

Thanks.

Peace.

Definitely it will have USB2.0 because back when it launched there was no USB3.0 when H61 chip-set came out. There is no board with front USB3.o support unless you get a Z77 board which is overpriced.

For now get the components I listed above. In a year collect INR20-25000 and upgrade the CPU+Mobo+RAM.

Okay Sure. So there wont be any problem with the PC case having USB 3.0 and motherboard with USB 2.0?

I don't have to change the PSU, GPU and the PC case right, later when I'm changing the CPU, Mobo and the RAM? Coz the GPU itself cost 23K and it should work for some years.

Thanks. :)

Peace
