After tinkering with the bios the GPU didn't display to the monitor. I took out the cmos battery and left it out for a minute. When I put it back in it didn't reset (at least the gpu didn't output anything). I restarted it and same thing. I did this a few more times but still nothing. I don't have a cmos jumper but anything else I can do?

Solution
Did you leave the PC plugged in when you took the battery out? Unplug the pc from power and take the battery out for several minutes to clear it, even when the pc is unplugged power left in the capacitors may be able to keep the CMOS powered for a little while. CMOS is volatile memory that WILL clear if it does not have any power.

Solution
try unplugging the power cord from the back of the pc then pressing the power button on the pc, should discharge the residual charge from the capacitors in the power supply, then remove the cmos battery and let it sit for half an hour or so.

that should do the job.
