Hi, is it okay to lower the timings if i throttle down the frequency from 2133mhz to 1866?

my memory is G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2133 (PC3 17000) Desktop Memory Model F3-17000CL9D-8GBXM

with timing 9-11-10-28

Should be OK but why it will run faster at 2133.

I would like to run it at 2133 but it always throttle down to 1866 and i always manually adjust it back to 2133 so i thought ill just stay at 1866 and adjust the timings instead. My cpu is fx 8350 and im not sure but is there a way to make the memory work at 2133?.

Try it at 9-9-9-24 then 1866.
