Hey everyone.

currently I'm using ASUS RX 480 DUAL OC 8GB.

I'm looking to upgrade 1060, 1070 or 1080.
I'm looking at 1060 strix pretty decent price and i could also get other things for my build. ie Cablemods, better aio's for my build. ect.
1070 is about 120$ more and 1080 is about 80$ more from the 1070... So might as well get the 1080. Money isnt really the issues.

BUT

im not looking to upgrade my monitor anytime soon
I have ASUS VG248QE 24"

Im just looking to play 1080p.

spec:
Ryzen 5 1600
B350 MSI tomahawhk arctic
ASUS RX 480 DUAL OC 8GB.
EVGA 750BQ
16GB Corsair Vengeance

Solution
The GTX 1060 would be a bit of a sideways move from the RX 480/8GB. They trade punches depending on the game, with the 1060 coming out ahead in DX11 games and the 480 in DX12/Vulkan games. The GTX 1080 would be major overkill if you are using a 1080p/60 Hz display, but suit yourself.

Personally, If I had a RX-480 8GB, I'd be hanging on to it. They are still getting top dollar on the used market thanks to the miners. I sold my 480/8GB for double what I paid for it a few months back. Kind wished I had it back now.

So if that is what you are planning, you should still get a nice price for it.
