Hi, my pc has been working fine over the past 4 years, but when i got home from work today it started turning itself on and off every five seconds after i turned it on first. Screen doesn't work but after two or three cycles i get a beep from the mobo and freeze on the bios logo. After that it turns off again and keeps repeating the same process, without the bios screen tho. I tried my spare psu and still the same result. Does anyone have a clue on what i should do?

Does one say select boot device?
If so... that may very well be your hard drive... I have had that same sorta thing. I think f12 or f11 are usually boot menu.

Can you use a working computer to create a memtest86 USB drive? If you can get to that screen you spoke of... you should be able to get into the boot menu, or your bios at least. the "enter setup" is your bios. If you go in there, make sure your CPU is not overheating, also make sure the board is seeing all your ram, your hard drives and everything correctly.

Can you boot from a flash drive with memtest86? Your ram might be failing... or your VGA... I would not think its your HD, or else it would say "no boot device" or something. You should get into the bios if you can, and make sure your CPU fan is not turning off, or your CPU cooler is not allowing your chip to reach the temp threshold.

If you have a legit speaker on your mobo, it should let off some beeps to tell you the problem.

I tried starting it with my monitor conected to the gpu and the integrated one, same result. Tried getting into bios too, but was unable to. Even took out the battery twice. The fan is working, it's just really silent the first two resets...On the third one it ramps up and the speaker beeps asmif the pc is going to boot but it shuts down again... Will try with memtest tomorrow if i am able to get into bios somehow

Since i cant post pica i'll try to describe it. The screen is like when you reset cmos and then get those three options( load optimal settings, enter bios...) but without them. Just the blue background and mb name on top
