I'm really a noob at this, but I want this upgrade and I am able to save up for it.

Simple reason for the upgrade, some games for me are just too laggy or only run smooth in low quality.

I've heard back when I built my PC that the motherboard and/or case is too small for better graphics cards. Do I need to upgrade anything else in order to upgrade to a GTX 1060? And should I get the 3gb or 6gb version of the 1060.

Current specs:

Case: Thermaltake]https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811133249]Thermaltake Versa H22 Mid-tower Chassis
Motherboard: GIGABYTE 78LMT-USB3 AMD760G AM3
GPU: Geforce GTX 750 (Can't find where I got this from) - Want to upgrade
CPU: AMD]http://www.ncix.com/detail/amd-fx-6300-six-core-3-5-4-1ghz-c1-76934.htm]AMD FX-6300 Six Core

The case and the motherboard are fine for the GTX 1060. 6GB or 3GB. Get the 6GB if you can afford it. If not, the 3GB is still good. And since you insist on playing at low settings, 3GB won't be an issue. But if your "lag" is only multiplayer on busy servers, then the issue may be the CPU.
