So I am upgrading my computer including the case. I am in the process or building it. I just have to get windows installed with updated bios. Then put in gpu, new cpu, and the water cooler. Anyways, I turned on the computer and it fires up. I started to install windows 10 when I got this error in order to put in on my ssd, "Windows cannot be installed to this disk. the selected disk is of the gpt partition style." I am installing windows 10 home. Motherboard is z170 pro gaming/aura. I tried just enabling legacy mode to no avail. What do I need to do? Thanks in advance.

Solution
When you start the Windows 10 install process you have the opportunity to delete all existing partitions on the disk. Do that and Windows 10 will create the partitions it needs and begin the install.

You do this so you are starting with a clean disk and not one that is formatted.

I was able to get this solved by going to command prompt and cleaning the disk with disk partition. Then I disconnected all my other drives except the ssd I was installing windows on. This is for people in the future with this problem.
