I know this problem has been discussed many times, but most of the times the OP just ended up reinstalling Windows, so I thought I'd give it a shot here in case anyone knows better.

So here's the deal, I have this Asus laptop and recently when I turn it on, the keyboard and mouse stop working halfway through the Windows loading. The thing is, sometimes it does indeed load, but sometimes I need to restart it several times, even 8 times or more.

I've already tried to disable/enable legacy USB thing in bios and stuff, can't find any new drivers either.

Thank you in advance for any tip

~Cheers

Next time the laptop boots and works go into Event Viewer.

Event Viewer captures information about your system: purely information events plus warnings and error codes.

Most likely you will find quite a few such entries - not at all uncommon.

However, there may be some particular errors or warnings that happen just before or at the time of load failures. Look for those entries.

Clicking the entries will provide more information and detail.

Start with this link from within this forum:

Take a look. Just search about, get familiar with the workings and proceed as warranted.

Also, use verbose booting via BIOS. May capture and display something useful.
