hey!
Im a complete newbie of pc's so i just wanted to know if this is going to work?(msi motherboard with amd ryzen 3 1200 cpu) And is this good for the price?

I changed the RAM and added an SSD...
Its a pretty good build for price to performance ratio....

Ok , then just omit the SSD, but for the RAM, i would suggest you to go for 3000 mhz or higher... The one is suggested is good.

If you go with the Intel build, then 2400 mhz or 2666 mhz is enough, but if you go with the Ryzen build, then 3000 mhz and above is better... I would suggest you to add an SSD to the build, any will do but 120 GB or higher is the desired size...

See choosing between ryzen 3 1200 and i3-7100 is not easy because on one hand you get true quad core and overclocking support whereas on the other hand faster single thread performance and hyperthreading with better IPC.
But i would suggest you to go with the Ryzen 3.
