I've looked and looked for a solution to this puzzle and I think my only option is to ask here at this point.
I have a custom windows 10 PC with an ASUS motherboard and realtek audio drivers. I use a USB speaker and just regular headphones.
So how I normally do it is I turn the speaker on and it defaults to that, and if i turn it off, it goes the the secondary - my headphones. Today, when I turned my speakers off, there was no audio in my headphones.
I tried the front panel audio jack and that works (but I can't use it due to interference), and the realtek HD audio manager software detects that I have plugged my headphones into the back, and the green bars go up and down on the windows sound manager, but no audio comes out the back!
I'm stumped - please help! Thanks
