Hello, I would like to upgrade my desktop GPU, the budget is up to $480, any suggestions?.
MOBO: ASUS M4A785T-M/CSM - motherboard - micro ATX - Socket AM3 - AMD 785G
CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 945 3GHz
PSU: 750w
GPU: SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition DirectX 11 100354OC-2L 2GB 256-Bit GDDR5
OS: Windows 8.1
Monitor: LG UM67 34UM67 ( I need a DVI-I port)

pointless on this setup, anything higher would be bottlenecked into the ground to the point you would most likely see no real gains

I wouldn't be suprised that the phenom is holding the 7870 back.
