Difference between a 1060 6gb mini and a Full size version?

i'm in a hunt for a new gpu and was looking at the 1060 6gb versions and wanted to know what the difference if i bought a mini. The price difference is about £50. If you have any suggestions on other cards between the £250 mark then please list them. Will hoping to go into vr later on next year. ( mainly play racing sims plus the normal aaa games).

PC Specs :

i5 6500
16gb hyper fury x ram
Corsair cx550m PSU
ASUS Intel Lga1151 H110 Plus DDR4 Atx Motherboard

I dont think that will be a heat problem with oculus , Mini gpu are ok with their coolers since clocks arent overclocked , dont worry about it

Usually mini versions has lower clock/ memory speeds and smaller heatsinks and of course they are shorter :p , in perfomance there isnt so much difference to make it worth a 50$ difference.

Thanks for that, would they be able to cope with the Oculus as they only have one fan would they over heat more?
