Should I get a gaming rig?

So, I have been an Xbox gamer for way too long and I have decided I want a PC gaming rig. However, I have a cheap Lenovo B50-30 non-gaming laptop that can run a few AAA games on Ultra Low settings. I have found a rig within my budget with an Intel Core i3-530 Dual Core Processor and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 graphics card. Should I get this rig, keep the laptop or save up for a better one?

Dont bother with that i3. That is a 1st gen Intel i3 dual core and we are in the 7th gen waiting for the 8th gen to come in a few months. Save up for a better pc.

I think you should take it . It can run many latest games at low settings and some at medium . If you want you can upgrade it in the future .

There is zero upgrade path to that platform. Its dead and obsolete.

If you're paying $50.00 then i'd take it. Otherwise, like stated previously, it's a dead end.
