I have just finished building my new pc with the asus z270 tuf mark 1 motherboard and it is all working fine however the power led on the motherboard stays on constantly and i don't know if something is actually wrong or if it is just a bug
Are you suggesting it stays on constantly even after the psu is unplugged?
If you're saying it's after you've shut your PC down, but the PSU is still plugged in, then that's perfectly normal. It's indicating there is a power feed into the motherboard from the PSU, I don't know many modern motherboards that DON'T keep the LED on. You can usually disable it in the BIOS if you so wish.
It stays on when the pc is off and the psu is plugged in but it also stays on when the pc is running. Is that okay?

Is it the standard motherboard Power LED? If it is, then it's fine, the light is indicating that the PSU effectively plugged into a live wall and plugged into the motherboard. So if your PSU...
