Games freezing / crashing

Hello,

I recently got a new graphics card and since I installed it some games would freeze temporarily (e.g. AC: Syndicate) and some others with freeze and then crash (e.g. Overwatch - Error: Render device has been lost). I have the Sapphire R9 270X 4GB.

Any help is appreciated

lol syndicate was a 90's game if it's a remake you might be running into the same issue i have

Remove old gpu drivers with DDU, and reinstall fresh ones from AMD website.
What about your temperatures?

4 gb should be enough , but you gotta check to see if your game needs more than 4 gb perhaps ? also check your drivers , update

I did use DDU and also manually deleted old drivers. My temperatures never exceed 70C. The games I am playing do not use more than 4GB. Overwatch only uses around 1GB and AC: Syndicate only used around 2.7GB.
