I have a H170-PRO asus mother board.
Original specs
I5-6402P
32gigs ddr4
4x8gigs
New specs
I7-7700k
32gigs of ddr4
4x8gigs
Windows 10 Home edition 64bit
When I upgraded the CPU i had to update the bios. now with new cpu installed and everything working.. The computer is only recognizing 16gigs of ram. I enter the bios, all 4 sticks show. However only 16gigs of total memory. In windows same thing, in speccy, i can see all 4 sticks and 32gigs of ram. However under phycial memory it shows 16. and in the computer info, it only shows 16gigs as well.
I have XPM enabled. and have tried reseating the sticks multiple times.. However, when i seat 2x8 side by side it only reads 8gigs. I have to seat 1 in the first slot and another in the 3rd slot for it to read 16gigs. So im assuming for some reason its in dual channel mode.
