So this is a new build about 4 months old specs are
Motherboard: ASROCK 990fx extreme 9
CPU: evga GeForce gtx 1050ti.
Power source: evga 700 watt.
Cooler: arctic freezer 13.
Ram: corsair vengeance 32gb.
OS: Windows 10.

So the computer only freezes whenever I play games. I have sent back my CPU and power supply. For brand new ones and the issue still persists. I've tried completely taking it apart and putting it back together. That worked for about 2 days then it went right back to freezing my comp/ crashing my games.

CPU temp is 30 degrees Celsius. idle and 55 degrees Celsius running a game.

Please help I've been trying to fix it now for as long as I've had it and i cannot get it to not freeze. Thanks!

I personally would get rid of that CPU because what i have heard is people having so many issues with it. 90c thats very hot.I would pick of a quick 8350

What do you mean it freezes ? Are you having to do a hard reset when it freezes ? What is the CPU ? Is it overclocked ? Try updating the bios to the latest on the asrock website

Cpu is AMD octa core FX- 9590 4.5GHz and yes I have to do a hard reset. Just checked my temp under load and my CPU temp was 91 degrees Celsius. Should I buy a different cooler?

i had a similar issue like this with a previous build. im not to fond of AMDs locking mechs for CPUs. Issue i was having was that the cooler was pulling the CPU out of the socket and it wasnt even that tight. Check there that could be a issue.
