I upgraded my Zotac GTX 750 TI to a Gigabyte GTX 960 Windforce. Now instead of selling the old one or throwing it out I'm wondering if they would both work on a dual setup without upgrading my PSU (550w). The 750 didn't even have a connector for the PSU cable, just plugged into the motherboard, so I don't know if even uses much more power.

Specs:
CPU: AMD Athlon X4
Motherboard: Gigabyte F2A78M-HD2
PSU: Corsair 550w

They will not be able to work in SLI, because you need two of the same GPU for that.

What you could do however, is use the GTX750ti as a dedicated PhysX card. It is not worth doing this, because you will only see a small performance gain.

Also, not all games are able to use a dedicated PhysX card, so in my opinion, this is not worth it.

The only reason that would make this a viable option is if you had a main GPU that doesn't support PhysX, but you'd need a really old one for that. :)
