Hello there i am living in the UK And i live in a village but this street does not have BT Openreach Fibre Optic Broadband installed which allows speeds of up to 76Mbps! I looked at packages and we have ordered BT Infinity 52Mpbs since we are on Sky Broadband up to 17 BUT THE ROUTER THEY SUPPLY ONLY GIVES OFF 5!!! I cannot live with that speed but other providers in the area such as Virgin Media who use their own type of cable offer up to 300. Since 300 Is more than 52 Does that mean that Broadband 17 but really 5 is crap and 52 is slow?

Please help since i am starting to think the offer i bought is crap.

Solution
did you run a cable test to see what speed youre capable of getting?
call them up, youre automatically on the most stable connection (slowest), faster speeds are possible but are less stable.

Yeah! Sky can't do anything about it since they just want us to upgrade to Sky Q Which is like the most expensive and premium and unstable operating system that could run on a TV Box. I was just wondering since i am moving to 52Mbps but the average apparently will be around 28-36 Which is quick since my dad has that speed and currently downloading windows XP which is 400-600MB Is taking 3 Hours and on 30 it is 20 Minutes.
