Was looking for an access point for fairly cheap and the cheapest 2x2 spacial stream ap i could find was about £80 but i can get a single stream ap for £40. I am only planning to use this access point for my bedroom to clear the dead spot in my room and am not planning to connect to the ap elsewhere. I heard that 1x1 has quite bad range. Will it be sufficient for my room? Main devices in my room are my pc (which will be connected through ethernet anyways), phone and chromecast. My max wifi speed is 200mbps download, will I get anywhere near that?

What about a 2x2 dual band? I have a fairly small bedroom so I don't need huge range :)
