My budget is 1.5k dollars.
Already got ssd, windows 10, dvd drive, HDD, and a 1060 that was gifted to me that I will be using and upgrading in a few months to 1080 once prices drop. This is what I am planning to add for the completion of this build:

Case: Cooler Master HAF 912
PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA 750 G3 (got the money for 750W so why not xD)
RAM: CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 16GB
MOBO: ASUS PRIME Z270-A LGA 1151 Intel Z270 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1
CPU:Intel Core i7-7700K Kaby Lake Quad-Core 4.2 GHz LGA 1151
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO

All feedback is appreciated greatly. I love this forum, thanks in advance!

Depens of the budget ,
H5 universal will be an ok budget cooler for i7 7700k ,
Ryzen is ok with stock cooler even if you overclock a bit

If you are going for 1080p 144hz i recommend 7700k cause it performs better than to Ryzen in this resolution.
In 1440p +...

I would suggest to choose a better cooler for the 7700k ( 212 is good but this cpu is a thermal beast) .
Also a modern case with better materials and cable management . ( 912 its kinda outdated , if this is accurate for cases :p )

If you aim for 1440p / 4k later maybe the Ryzen 1700 will be more worthy .

I want you to recommend the best cooler for the Ryzen 1700 and the best cooler for the i7700k and I need to know why Ryzen is better. I am willing to consider.

With those components, your computer shouldn't be drawing more than 300 watts under load. A 750 watt PSU might be kind of a waste, and the money would probably be better put into other components. Also, a CRYORIG H7 cools better, tends to have less memory clearance issues, and arguably looks better than a 212 EVO, and is typically priced just a little more.

Also, Intel should be announcing their new CPUs within the next couple weeks, which should include 6-core i5 and i7 processors, so if you can't wait a little bit, it might be worth seeing what their pricing and performance is like.

In 1440p + they have nearly the same performance ( Ryzen's more cores make him better at multi-tasking/ rendering)
