High pitched noise coming from CPU area on laptop

Hi all, I just got a new gaming laptop, and I just noticed something strange. I don't recall hearing it earlier so I don't know if it's new, but I can hear what sounds like a high pitch scratchy noise coming from the CPU/GPU area on the motherboard. I don't know what's causing it, but I find when I run a stress test or CPU benchmark that it stops making the noise for some reason. Any ideas?

It was the fans. There's a limited amount of space in the fan area of any laptop, so it's possible that 1 of 2 things are happening. Either the bearings on the fan are worn out or not functioning correctly (might be a little too loose, so you get wobble/noise at certain rpm that can go away with higher rpm) or when the case is together, there's some sort of off center torque on the fan, causing it to rub on the frame that goes away when pressure is released.

Noise only can come from moving parts, solid objects don't make noise and since the only moving parts in the area of the fan, is the fan, it's the fan. Somehow.

Extra information:
It's not the fans as I opened it up while it was on and they weren't the noise. Nor do I have any hard drives (SSDs only) and they're nowhere near the noise source.
