Soo, Intel G45/43 doesn't like windows 10 or 8.1? Cant seem to install any drivers for it which makes sense since its not being supported anymore. Any more info anyone can give me on this? I know the only way to fix it is to downgrade to win 7 but that's not a option for me.

Not sure why you are not listening to people in this thread. If you are running anything other than the standard 4:3 resolutions now, the right drivers are already installed and you aren't using the fallback Microsoft Basic Display Adapter driver. The standard driver that WindowsUpdate installs automatically works fine in Windows 10.

The minimum system requirements for the current 1.12.2 version of Minecraft PC state that it won't work without OpenGL 4.4, while the G43/G45 IGP is only OpenGL 2.1. This has nothing to do with drivers as it's a hardware limitation, so no driver can "fix" it.

If you want to play Minecraft on that IGP you will need to select an older version, such as 1.7.10. While such old versions may be...

If you mean the Intel downloads page for Intel Motherboards with LGA1150, LGA1155, LGA 1156, LGA 1366 the drivers for those boards are the same as they were for since 2014. Drivers found on the site for the Intel Chipsets in general still have updates.

I believe it is best to install the Chipset driver first before anything and try and make sure that windows does not install the Chipset driver before you can. Should be an option to not download and install any updates during installation. And possibly an option to disable Plug n Play on legacy motherboards.

You see i cant get the drivers that work for windows 10 because the chipset G43/45 is not supported for windows 10, even when i try to update from Intel driver update it get a error when installing.

Wait, back up. What happens when you install Win 10? Does the install go OK? Or are you halted?

No windows 10 is fine the only problem is the driver for the chipset G43/45, its needed to run certain stuff. I had some guest over and wanted to play minecraft, so i download it and it wouldn't run because of the chipset. So im worried of things i want to do in the future, if the chipset will hold me back. (UPDATE) Sorry for the confusion! The G45/43 is a graphics processor or integrated graphics according to cpu-z, i thought it was the chipset for some reason.

It must be working if you are getting a display at the correct resolution. Or do you mean it isn't being recognized by that one game?

Btw, you can buy an inexpensive discrete gfx card for much better video than the old iGPU. Even as simple as Minecraft is, it will look and play better with a gfx card.

Hi there download the file from the following link
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/18402
then unzip the file Win7Vista_64_151717bb.zip
in the graphics folder is kit37250.inf
do a manual install with this file.
right click start menu
click computer management
click device manager
find graphics driver to update right click on it
click update driver or go to drivers tab and click update driver
click browse my computer for driver software
click let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer
click next(show all devices)
click have disk
click browse and browse to the graphics folder from the extracted file earlier
click ok
click next

I managed to tweak the windows 7 drivers to work with windows 10:

1: search and replace in all .inf NTamd64.6.2 with NTamd64.6.7
2: reboot without driver signature enforcement
3: right click on kit49684.inf and select install
4: in device manager update driver, select from local installed drivers the newly installed one

That's it
