I was thinking that would be a good cheep idea that would help with vibrations since I have 10 drives

Or will it not make a difference I'm currently using a old case that it's just a metal cage that holds all drives and they hang from the 4x screws

Goto pcpartpicker.com. Search under cases, you can set search parameters for 10x 3½ internal bays. It's mostly full towers, but there are some ATX mid towers. Using a couple larger drives partitioned would cut that down to 8 drives used and open up a lot more choices.
Push come to shove, you could always go NAS route, which would use 4 or 5 huge drives instead of 10 smaller drives, offering more actual storage and open up the pc to anything, including a laptop.

Best thing I've found is rubber tape. You can get it at any place like home depot or Lowes in the electrical isle. There's usually a gap between the hdd side and the frame of the drive bay, so when you use a strip of that tape, it gets sandwiched between them with screw pressure. The glue on the velcro when exposed to heat will loose adhesion after a while, and with supported hdds, gravity will soon take over.

Just make sure the hdd bay frame is solid, no loose screws or rivets, if it's screwed down, put some rubber tape between the frame and bay etc. This'll help absorb the vibrations.

End result is you have 10 hdds, you can expect a certain level of vibration when several are working at different speeds and intensities. The only real cure is to eliminate drives by moving the info to a larger drive that's partitioned.
