im running my i7 4790 not (K) with the intel box cooler and my idle is around 52C it is high for idle and im 1 always playing high end games and not thinking to oc ,, but i cant get new cooler but im thinking to get ARCTIC MX-4 thermal paste to fix this

i will get big temps difference to gaming in safe temps right ?

remember you don't need ALOT of it.. if unsure how much there are lot of very good videos out there by "linus" that show the various methods to put it on and what differences it makes in the end, pea, spread, cross, line... up to you.. I use spread myself and never ever had issues.

checked the bios and it is 2000 rpm i think it is good and the heatsink is just need to be replaced right ?

I'm sure the thermal paste I put is bad it is very cheap and Intel fan works fine the mx-4 paste on the way to me

I will put little on the middle of the CPU and hope my problem will be fixed thx
