PC part picker is telling me the pc is going to need 385 watts so I was planning on buying a 550 watt gold certified psu. However, while shopping for parts at a computer hardware store I saw that they had a 500 watt BRONZE PSU on sale for half the price. I know very little about the certifications and how much watts each psu uses so I came here.

This is my pc build on PCpartpicker -

What do you guys think? Any help is appreciated and thank you in advance!

I would stick with the g2. The 500 b1 is a mediocre PSU at best. It would probably be fine, but the g2 would last you through multiple builds and feed your components clean power which will help their longevity.
