1200 is the better bang for buck one. Or the 1400 if you want more threads.
Not necessarily better bang for the buck if you're not overclocking. ~8% more performance for $20. So on a $500 system, that's a 4% price increase for 8% more CPU performance. That's decent value.

Not sure the 8% performance boost will even matter.
OP probably uses a 60Hz monitor, 1200 and 1300X both get over 60 fps comfortably.
