I had this weird problem yesterday where I started up the PC and the display was showing purple instead of gray everywhere. It went away after I restarted the PC. A few days ago the monitor also turned on by itself while the PC was turned off, not in sleep mode.
I probably need to get a new monitor, but my question is: could it be because of my GPU? (MSI GTX 1080 TI Gaming X). I'm asking this because I'm thinking if the color problem were a monitor thing, would it have fixed itself after a simple reboot? Can anyone give me a few tips on this kind of problem? Thanks!
