Hi!

I've already asked in this forum for RAM and I've been treated so well. I'm buying new components for my pc and I can't figure it out how to decide which graphic card should I use. I've read the "How to ask for advice about choosing a new gpu" and I'm going to follow it.

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: This week (the closer the better) BUDGET RANGE: 150-200 € (I'm spanish so I will put it in euros but if you talk me in dollars I'll understand) after Rebates

USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Gaming (games like For Honor, the new Doom... games with hight requeriments).

CURRENT GPU: Sapphire Radeon HD 6850 Toxic 1GB GDDR5-11180-03-40R POWER SUPPLY: Thermaltake LitePower 600W - W0355RE
(e.g., EVGA Geforce GTX 560TI and Rosewill Hive 650W PSU - without this info, it's really hard to help you)

OTHER RELEVANT SYSTEM SPECS: CPU: AMD Phenom II 955 X4 Quad Core 3.2Ghz Black Ed 125W AM3 Box MoBo:Asus M4A87TD/USB3 -90MIBCM5-G0EAY0WZ MEMORY: G.Skill Ripjaws DDR3 1600 PC3-12800 8GB 2X4GB (I'm going to buy another one of this packages, so it will be 16GB).

(e.g., make/model of CPU, MoBo, memory - this can help us determine whether or not a given card is compatible with and makes sense for your system. For high-end cards, knowing your case/cooling setup may also be helpful)

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: www.pccomponentes.com (Here I can find every single component so I like it a lot), Amazon COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: Spain

PARTS PREFERENCES: I can ony say I will prefer it to be the most compatible with the other components to achieve the highest possible performance. I suppose it will be better an AMD because all the PC is AMD, but if you have another consideration please tell me!

OVERCLOCKING: I don't know enough to say, I will prefer the most secure option. SLI OR CROSSFIRE: I don't think my actual PC can take it.

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1920x1080

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: Not much to say, it will be better with warranty.

Thanks for the help!

Will it cause me any problem to have that motherboard and that RAM (both amd)? Also, How good is it going to be with regard to games?

Thanks for the help!

No problem at all.
Bear in mind these cards do not support VGA analog so your monitor needs to be HDMI or dvi .

Gaming wise , yes its a great budget card. Close to twice as powerful as your old 6850.

If anything your phenom will be the weaker component of the two.

The motherboard ram and graphics card ram have no connection, neither type, brand nor speed.
You are OK.

Your 600w psu can run any modern graphics card made today.
Within your budget, I agree, GTX1050ti is a nice upgrade.
I like EVGA as a brand. In part because of their excellent forum support.
Here is a very strong GTX1050ti SSC that has availability:
https://www.pccomponentes.com/evga-geforce-gtx-1050ti-ssc-gaming-acx-30-4gb-gddr5

With this card, your likely limitation will be the cpu you are using.

Ok, I'm going to choose madmatt30 answer as the solution because he has participated more but you have all made this easy for me. Thanks for the help! I'm going to buy that card (I will choose if it's going to be Asus, MSI or EVGA later, it's difficult xD).
