So I want to buy a new SSD, I have 2 I put my eyes on:

1) Samsung 850 EVO Series MZ-75E250 250GB SSD SATA III

2) Samsung 850 EVO M.2 MZ-N5E250BW 250GB SSD

My Mobo:
Asus Z97-A
https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/Z97A/specifications

I've heard the M.2 performs better and will improve its performance in the future.
So what's better to buy for my MOBO?
Is the M.2 compatible (M/B keys and something like that.. I don't really have knowledge here)?
Will I gain benefits from the M.2 or should I just but the other one?
I heard something like NVMe, what's that? do I have it?
Do you recommend other brands?

Thanks!

Solution
850 evo use sata,
using m.2 or sata connection would be the same

https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/Z97A/specifications/
1 x M.2 Socket 3, , with M Key, type 2260/2280 storage devices support (PCIE mode)

your mobo don't support m.2 with sata mode. So it will not work with 850 evo at all

According to Samsung's site, the two SSD's that you have put in your post will have the same performance as they have the same speeds. Thats happens because the controller is the same in both of them. So you can buy one or another, it's up to you.

But I heard that the M.2 is faster and better in some cases, are you sure about this? if yes, any recommendation on other models/brands that will perform better with my MOBO?

You meant it will not work with M.2 850 evo or all 850 evo? because I had 850 evo (not the M.2) and it worked until it dropped dead after 2 years.
So, with your knowledge, what do you think is the best SSD for my MOBO? (250~GB)
