Ryzen 1600 2 Cores 4 Logical Processors

Solution
Is this the same install from your previous 860k build ??

If so new windows install mate , its still using core/ thread specs from your old CPU.

@SoggyTissue My msconfig only goes up to 4 cores, which is currently checked. And I was seeing if there is any other way before doing a fresh install of windows because, knowing my luck, that won't work either.

No, I would have shown the drop down but Lightshot never wants to come up when i hit Print Screen so I had to click it manually. It only goes up to 4

For whatever reason, windows is detecting a 4 thread cpu.
Is your motherboard bios up to date?
There have been many issues with ryzen motherboards.

There is also the possibility that the processor is defective and is not supplying the correct thread info to windows at boot time.

Do one thing, run Cinebench and see if your CPU is getting an average-ish score, or maybe a UserBenchmark test to see if your CPU is at or above average. If it is scoring fine, you at least know only the info is wrong, but the processor still has 6 cores and 12 threads.

Got a score of 404. From other benchmarks on the internet, people are getting about 1000.

@geofelt My BIOS is up to date.

Thanks for the help guys. I will be reinstalling Windows and seeing if that fixes the issue.

If you are not using a fresh install of Windows the problem is something you made yourself. You can not expect to change platforms from Intel to Ryzen and have windows give proper readings, or for that matter expect all cores to work. After your fresh install, all will work fine.

Don't forget to download the latest drivers, and use them, not the ones on your disk.
