So i have my pc in my bedroom which is upstairs and the router is downstairs. i run wireless but it has just been rubbish for gaming so now i want to run wired. i can't run it directly to the router cause of the distance but i have a ethernet/phone port into my wall in my bedroom. is it someway possible that if i connect my pc to the wall in my bedroom that i could then manage to have a wired internet connection through my router?

the distance between your pc and router is over 50m? damn thats a big house you got.
there are wall plugs, plugs into power socket and uses your household power wires as the network cable.

It really depends what the wires in the walls really are where they go. Many houses built in the last 20 years or so used ethernet cable for phone installation. Problem is phones are wired different than ethernet. If they daisy chained them together you likely have no hope. If they all run back to a central location you "might" be able to change the wall jacks and use the wires.
Pretty much you need to pull the wall plate look at the wires and find out where they go. You are hoping to be able to get at least 2 pair of wires better if you can get all 4 pair.

wall plug as in the power plug supplying 240v here in the UK (110v in the USA?) you put 1 plug in by your router and connect it with enthernet cable, 1 plug in your room and connect your pc to it with enthernet cable.

This is one of those you have to be there to answer. There is no way to guess the type of wire you have to actually look at it. You hope you find a cable that looks like a standard ethernet cable with the standard colors. Anything else is a bad sign.
In general it cost you nothing other than some time to pull the wall plates and see if it is a valid option. Otherwise as indicated poweline is likely your next best option. Try to buy av2 models they work much better than that the older av200 or av500 models.

If you have multiple phone outlets in the house, whether the cable is phone (cat 3) or ethernet (cat 5/6) is beside the point. They are daisy chained together to spread the phone signal to all the outlets, so won't work for ethernet. Your only hope would be if there's some sort of central phone/cable hub in your house, where these separate phone outlets are physically connected. Then you could disconnect the outlet for your one room, and use the cable (assuming it's cat 5/6) for ethernet.

■Powerline ethernet as suggested above. This runs ethernet over your electricity wiring. It generally performs best in one circuit (i.e. wiring controlled by a single circuit breaker or fuse), and performance is wildly unpredictable since it depends on the length, location, and quality of your wiring. If you're a HAM radio operator, this will kill some of your HAM frequencies as it turns your house wiring into a big antenna at those frequencies.
■MoCA. This runs ethernet over coaxial cable (cable TV cable) found in most homes. I haven't used it so I'm not sure, but I suspect it can't be used if you're already using the coax for cable TV.
■VDSL. This is a short-range variant of the ADSL phone companies use to deliver Internet over phone lines. It's commonly used in hotels and apartment buildings to spread DSL to each unit over existing phone lines. If you have phone outlets in both your room and the router room, this would definitely work. The catch is that it's by far the most expensive solution. A VDSL modem pair will cost you about $250. (If you go this route, the current spec is VDSL2. An older pair of VDSL1 modems would still work, but their top speed is slower.)
■Pay someone to install ethernet in your walls or live with an ethernet cable draped on your floor. Some DIYers have had success running it through heating and air conditioning ducts.
