Overclocking DDR4 ram with ryzen

Hi, i have a ryzen 1600 @3.7Ghz and Corsair LPX 2666Mhz 16-18-18-35 ram, Id like to know if it would be worthwhile overclocking to 2933 or even 3200, i tried 2933 with 1.3V and 18-18-18-35 (i have no idea how to overclock ram so this is what i tried) but it didnt work, what timings would i have to use for it to run at 2933? and is there anything else i should change

Ryzen is picky about RAM. I don't think any lower end kits will run at higher speeds than what they are rated at. 2666 / 16 is low end and isn't going to overclock.

U shouldnt OC ur RAM if u dont know anything about latencies; 2666Mhz is good enough;

But if u still want to do it first u have increase the voltage to 1,35V and the add a few numbers to the latency values.
