I recently just upgraded my CPU from the a4 6300 To the athlon x4 880k and so far I got multiple kernel power 41 events and 6 BSOD (a few examples are "driver verifier detected violations" "kernel security check failure") while I don't think the CPU is overheating the idle temp 60c and load temp is 90c

My system:
A88x G43
And athlon x4 880k
Evga 430w 80+ psu
Patriot viper 3 ddr3 2x8gb
Gtx 1060 founders edition
1x SSD 2x HDD

Any help is great
if you need any more info just ask

just got another BSOD its the "apc index mismatch" oddly enough all the blue screens seems to link to driver issues

update just changed the thermal compound and the load temp is now 80

Solution
Model number 880K
Family AMD Athlon X4
Maximum operating temperature 72.4°C

Focus on finding the overheating source problem.
1) poor case cooling
2) lack of fans or low quality fans that move little air
3) improperly applied thermal compound

i am using a cooler master seidron 120v
if that isn't sufficient should i replace it with the stock cooler for the time being
also shouldn't a over heating CPU event just cause a unexpected shutdown or does it also explain the BSODs

i am using hwmoniter while also using prime95 to stress it (max temp around 91c) i am also using bios but i can't reach those temps because i cant stress my CPU within bios

hw monitor is a good program.i dont think the bluescreens and the temps are related, but rather two separate problems.when you upgraded your cpu did you do a fresh install of windows?if not that is likely your bluescreen problem.as for the temps, how were they with the old setup?sorry, more questions than answers just yet.also what windows are you running?
