Last week my Solitaire stopped working in Start-up; icon is there but clicking does nothing. In Programs and Features Turn Features on and off all I get is a blank box...no Games anywhere. Search of Computer finds no Games. None of my searches over the last few days has turned up a solution.

Can someone please help me get it back? I have Windows 7 Home Edition 32-bit.

Thanks tons.

In File Explorer, go to c:\windows\system32 and double click the file sol.exe. If it works, while you're still in the folder, right click it and select to create a shortcut and send it to the Desktop.

It's nice to see someone else who still plays it - every time the phone rings, I start a game while I'm talking. I still use the orignal version from Windows 98 because I prefer it. It works just as well in Windows 10.
