hi, i have and amd fx-4130 overclocked to 4.2 ghz, it is showing in windows, but not in cpu-z.

i probably did something wrong, while overclocking, because im kinda new to overclocking.

my pc specs are:

motherboard: gigabyte 990fxa-ud3
fusion 550-f 80plus
8gb ram
gtx 1060 6gb

in the bios ive increased the cpu frequency ration, upped the voltage to 1,44.

if ive done anything wrong or i should change something, please tell me, because i want an as stable overclock as possible.

thanks in advance!

GRTZ, J

amd overdrive says it's frequency is 3818mhz and multiplier is 19.00 x.

the only thing with multiplier in my bios was ''system memory multiplier'' which i didnt touch because i thought i was my ram speed. by default it is on 6,67 and, underneath it was memory frequency(MHz) which is at 1334MHz.

PS: i let my system sleep for a night, restart it, and checked my bios again, but didn't change anything, saved and restarted it, and now amd overdrive and cpu-z tell me it's overclocked and running a multiplier at 7-21.

Thanks clutchc, for your time and effort!

Which revision is your board? 1.0, 1.1, 3.0, 4.0? It should be printed on the corner area of the board near the bottom left-most screw hole (near the PCI slots).

You want to increase the "CPU Clock ratio". What have you been increasing to OC?
